Spacious concrete driveway with basketball hoop beside a modern house surrounded by lush green trees and bushes.

Driveway replacement and installation

Widespread cracking, settled sections and crumbling edges mean a driveway you keep patching. Our driveway replacement service covers removing the old concrete and preparing the base for the new driveway. Every driveway gets a 4,900 psi mix (rated at 28 days) at no additional cost, reinforced with rebar and fiber. We also plan the slope, joint layout and transitions at your garage and street. Those details decide how well the driveway holds up.

Driveway repair and apron replacement

Damage in one area doesn't mean the whole driveway has to come out. We look at cracked panels, uneven sections and worn entrances and tell you whether a targeted repair will hold. See driveway repair and driveway apron replacement. New concrete won't exactly match the color of an older surface, so we'll show you what to expect before you choose a partial replacement.

Newly poured concrete pad in a backyard, surrounded by trees and houses under a clear blue sky.

Driveway extensions and parking pads

An extension adds room for another vehicle or makes turning and parking easier. We lay it out around drainage, property lines and the joint with your existing driveway. Tell us what you'll park on it, from a second car to a boat trailer, and we'll build it for that load.

Golf cart pads and path connections

With more than 100 miles of multi-use paths in Peachtree City, a cart pad is one of the most practical additions to a driveway. We pour cart pads beside the garage or house and tie them into your existing concrete. A connection to the city path system needs city approval first; see Cart paths and construction access below.

Modern backyard patio with a Japanese maple tree, stone lanterns, and trimmed shrubs around a concrete walkway.

Concrete patios and decorative finishes

Your patio should fit how you use the yard: room for a dining table, a seating area, or a clean route from the back door to the garden. We install concrete patios and stamped concrete for a decorative finish. We plan around furniture space, door clearances, surface texture and where rainwater will go.

Curved concrete sidewalk leading to a brick house entrance with landscaped mulch and shrubs along the path.

Walkways, sidewalks and steps

Replace a broken front walk, add a path beside the house or connect the patio to the rest of the yard. Our concrete walkways and steps follow the route people actually use. Where existing concrete has lifted or settled, we'll check the damaged section and recommend a repair.

Concrete stairs lead up a landscaped hill with red soil, retaining wall, adjacent house, and green grass under blue sky.

Retaining walls and masonry

A retaining wall turns a slope into usable yard, but it only holds if the footing and drainage are right. Sudlow builds retaining walls and provides brick and stone masonry. We'll go over the wall's purpose, the material options and any approvals needed before construction starts.

Foundations, small slabs and sinkhole repair

We also pour concrete foundations, pads and small concrete projects. Bring the plans or equipment specs for a garage, shed or other structure, and we'll quote the slab for its load. For settling over a suspected void, ask about sinkhole repair. We fix the cause before new concrete covers it.

Commercial and HOA concrete work

Businesses, HOAs and property managers call us for sidewalks, curbs, ramps, dumpster pads and other commercial concrete work. Tell us your operating hours, delivery access and pedestrian routes, and we'll set the scope and schedule around them.

Planning your project: what happens before the pour

Here's what we settle with you before the first truck arrives:

  • Scope: what will be removed, repaired or added, including adjoining steps, aprons and walkways.
  • Site preparation: grading, base conditions and drainage.
  • Appearance: layout and finish, including any decorative borders.
  • Access: where vehicles will park and how people will reach the house during construction.
  • Schedule and aftercare: weather, approvals and curing time before normal use.

If you're comparing quotes, check that each one covers the same work: demolition, base preparation, thickness, reinforcement and finish. Two prices only compare if those match.

Permits and the driveway entrance

Work near the street, the public right-of-way, drainage features or property lines usually needs approval.

Inside city limits, start with Peachtree City's permitting information. Outside them, check with your city or county. We'll go over which approvals your project needs, and who will get them, before we schedule the work.

HOA Requirements

If your neighborhood has architectural review, get approval for an extension, patio or decorative border before the layout is final. We'll give you the dimensions, location and material details for the submission.

Cart paths and construction access

Work next to a cart path needs an access plan. Peachtree City has a cart-path encroachment permit process for access across public land or use of the path.

Permission to cross a path during construction is separate from approval to build a permanent connection to it. Confirm both before planning either.

Red clay, water and the base beneath the concrete

Georgia's red clay holds water, and water under or beside a slab is what moves it. We check the base and the direction of runoff before we pour.

Good preparation, reinforcement and control joints keep cracking small and controlled. No contractor can make concrete crack-proof, and we won't claim to.

Frequently asked questions

Q How much does a concrete driveway cost in Peachtree City?

A

Square footage, removing the old concrete, access, grading, drainage and finish set the price. An apron or extra parking area adds to the scope. We give you a free on-site quote with clear upfront pricing for the work your property actually needs.

Q Can you replace only part of my driveway?

A

Often, yes. If the damage is isolated and the surrounding concrete is sound, we can replace individual sections. We'll tell you what caused the damage, what it costs and how the new sections will look next to the old.

Q Do I need a permit?

A

It depends on the work and the jurisdiction. Changing the driveway entrance or working in the right-of-way usually needs approval. HOA approval is separate.

Q How long will I be without my driveway?

A

Construction time depends on the size of the job, the prep and the weather, and curing continues after the pour. Plan on roughly 24-48 hours before walking on it and at least seven days before driving a car on it; your crew will confirm for your pour. See our concrete curing guide.

Q What does the five-year warranty cover?

A

Every job comes with a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship at no additional cost, and it transfers automatically. If you sell the house, the new owner is covered too. Read the warranty details before work begins.

Q Do you take small jobs?

A

Yes! There's no minimum job size. Call us about a short walkway, a small pad, a damaged section or a set of steps.

Q How soon can someone give me a quote?

A

Call or send the form, and we'll give you the next available appointment. Include your address, the type of work and any scheduling needs.

Sudlow did a great job tearing up and replacing my driveway and walkway. The estimate process was easy, they communicated well throughout the process. They walked me through the process and provided suggestions on design. The crew was on time and very friendly and thorough. Before they left each day they made sure I was comfortable with the progress. After they were complete, they cleaned up and made sure the grading was fixed.

Sudlow Concrete did a great job in replacing my 40+ year old driveway and poring a sidewalk along the left side of my house. It was easy to request a quote through their website and schedule an estimate. I received my estimate by the end of the day, and it was very competitive with 3 other quotes that I obtained. The work was scheduled within a week and the crew showed up at the time scheduled. A supervisor walked through the plans for the work to be done and gave me his card to contact him if I had any questions or concerns. The crew started work at 7AM and were completed by 1:30PM. I was very impressed with how their entire crew were so organized and coordinated. Everyone knew their job and the proper time to do their part. Demolition, framing, gravel, concrete, were all very efficiently timed. The work site was cleaned after the job, and they also came back and pressure washed the street in front of my house. I have received several complements from my neighbors and have noticed some taking pictures of the Sudlow sign that was left in my yard.

Our experience with Sudlow was spectacular. “Efficient” doesn’t seem a strong enough word! On the day our driveway was to be installed, the crews arrived just before 7am (as promised) and they were done — completely done…I mean, old drive was demo’d and the new drive was poured EXACTLY to our specs — before 1:30pm. And to boot, Mr. Sudlow himself called from his personal cellphone before work started and at the end to offer his assistance (if needed) and check in once work was completed. I thought this kind of customer service was dead! Clearly, it isn’t! AND their office staff is superior! A++ HIGHLY recommend!

For several years, the driveway of our 60-year old house has been cracked and rough. Recently, when we were out of town, our carport cracked and sank about a foot making it difficult, if not impossible, for us to enter the house. I did some research and found Sudlow Concrete who had good reviews. I called and made an appointment with Mr. Sudlow who came out and made measurements and talked about our requirements. He went back and sent me a quote. I accepted the quote and made arrangements to begin work on the following Monday morning. I woke up at 6:45 am that Monday morning and the crew was already beginning to work on breaking up the old concrete on our driveway, carport, turn-around, and front porch using a Bobcat with a jack hammer attachment. Then, they switched to a bucket attachment and scooped up the broken pieces and dumped them into a dumpster to be recycled. After this, they graded the areas needing it, constructed the forms, and started spreading a load of gravel which had been delivered. At this time, the team leader advised us that they were leaving for the day and another load of gravel would be delivered in an hour or so and that they would come back the second day to spread it. On the second day, by the time I woke up at 6:45 am, they had already spread the gravel, laid the rebar and the first concrete truck was already getting in position to deliver the first load of concrete. Once delivered, the team began working the concrete. Over the course of the next hour or so, three more trucks delivered more concrete and all areas were filled in and the workers began smoothing it. By noon, it was all done. They even created a little ramp at the back door in the carport so that we can easily step into the house and even roll a wheelchair into the door, if necessary. We are extremely happy with the work done and compliment Mr Sudlow and the team for their professionalism and courtesy. It was evident they had done quality jobs like this multiple times. Once the job was done, all tools and trash were collected and removed leaving our yard as clean as it was when they arrived the first day. They even placed a barrier so that no one would drive on the driveway until it was dry and cured. We were advised not to walk on the fresh concrete for 24 hours and not to drive on it for 5 days. We can’t wait to try it out. Update: We've walked over the driveway and are impressed by the workmanship and love the new carport, driveway and porch.

My new driveway is the talk of my neighborhood! A+++

I own Brilliance Photography and have worked with Sudlow Concrete on a number of projects over the years. I felt compelled to write this review because my experience with their company has been consistently outstanding. On every project I’ve filmed or photographed for Sudlow Concrete, the customer testimonials have been completely genuine and unscripted. In most cases, they only require one take because the clients are so enthusiastic about sharing their experience. Customers repeatedly praise their professionalism, respectfulness, ability to complete projects on time, and the exceptional quality of the final product — often exceeding expectations. What makes this especially meaningful is that I was never asked to write this review. After more than 25 years in marketing photography and video production, working with countless companies and contractors, I can honestly say I’ve never seen such consistently positive customer feedback. That level of customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the integrity and quality of Sudlow Concrete and the way they do business.

Outstanding work on a complex driveway and patio project We recently had Sudlow Concrete replace our entire driveway and rear walkway (~5,851 sq ft), add a stamped apron and decorative bands, replace our front porch step, reroute five downspouts under the driveway with PVC piping, and install a stamped patio under our deck (~600 sq ft) to match the driveway. This was a big, detailed job, and Sudlow handled every part of it exceptionally well. We got bids from three highly rated, established concrete contractors for the exact same scope of work. Two came in substantially higher for identical specs. Sudlow's price was significantly lower, with no compromise on quality — if anything, the opposite. The crew showed up at 6am on a Monday to get started, and the owner, Will (Bill) Sudlow, personally called the next evening just to check in and make sure everything was going according to plan. That kind of hands-on attention from the owner himself says a lot about how seriously they take their work. Given the scope and the weather, the full pour, stamping, and sealing process took 10 days — which felt entirely reasonable for a job this size. We ran into two minor issues along the way (a buried Xfinity cable line and an underground dog fence wire we hadn't marked), but neither was Sudlow's fault, and both were resolved quickly and professionally. The cleanup was thorough, the stamped concrete on both the driveway bands/apron and the patio came out beautifully and consistently matched, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. We took before-and-after photos and couldn't be happier with the results. We've already recommended Sudlow to three neighbors with upcoming concrete projects, and we'd recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair, honest price.
